Dating back to the sixteenth century, history and tradition are at the heart of Stationers’ Hall.  The Grade I listed building is located close to St. Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London and offers a seamless blend of welcoming warmth and striking grandeur.

Congratulations on your engagement!  It would be our pleasure to meet you and show you around Stationers’ Hall but for the moment, please read on about hiring our beautiful London wedding venue for your special day.

Stationers' Hall has four magnificent and characterful rooms which interlink with each other: the Stock Room, the Main Hall, the Ante Room and the Court Room. The rooms are extremely versatile, making them suitable all year round for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The Stationers’ Garden is a private and secluded haven within the City of London. It is an ideal space for your drinks’ reception and those all-important wedding photos.

This ever-changing garden hosts an abundance of seasonal plants and flowers, and the impressive London Plane tree offers welcome shelter and shade come rain or shine.

The garden can be decorated with fairy lights and lanterns for example to create that perfect atmosphere.

Our wedding venue hire fees range between £3,950 plus vat to £4,950 plus vat and allow for exclusive use of the rooms and garden at Stationers’ Hall, so you can be assured of our sole attention on your big day.

Stationers’ Hall is licenced for civil ceremonies including civil partnerships.  The beautiful Court Room which overlooks the garden, can seat up to 120 guests and the splendid Main Hall with its grand stained glass windows seats up to 200 guests for a ceremony.

The Court Room is also perfect for seated receptions for up to 90 guests, while the Main Hall can seat up to 200 guests for a wedding breakfast.

Dancing is permitted in either the Main Hall or the Stock Room.

Should you wish to get married in a Church, the neighbouring St Martin within Ludgate provides the perfect blend of rich history and culture for your wedding ceremony. The Church is one of the rare fifty-two remaining Wren Churches in the City, complete with its striking interior, stained glass windows and oak wood flooring dating back to the 12th Century. The beautiful Church can hold up to 140 people for a ceremony.  The Church backs onto the Stationers’ Garden.

Stationers’ Hall can also host Jewish, Asian as well as other cultural wedding ceremonies and receptions.
